So this lesson may seem simple, and probably one that I should have learned a long time ago, but today I relearned the importance of putting sunscreen on your back and shoulders. I remembered to put sunscreen all over my kids, and I did put sunscreen on... But I didn't put any on my back. (I did in the afternoon, but not in the morning)
About 5:00pm today, after a very fun day day at the beach and the pool, I am very sunburned on my back up to my shoulders. Red is not just the color of love, it's also the color of my back.
Lesson learned: when going to the beach, put sunscreen on your back (or rather, ask someone to do this for you)
