Saying thank you - may 19th

Today I heard a wonderful talk by a man who recently received a kidney transplant. The thing that impressed me most about this talk was the importance of saying thank you.

The man giving the talk was so appreciative to the unknown donor. Although he has no idea who it was, he was extremely grateful for the wonderful service of being an organ donor. He was also extremely grateful for the family of the donor that he had never met. They followed through with the donor's wishes, and because of this, they helped save lives.

Hearing this amazing story makes me grateful for all that I have. If you have your health and aren't waiting on a transplant list, you have plenty to be grateful for.

Lesson learned: say thank you today, no one knows what tomorrow will bring.
